Guild Standards

Below are our Guild Standards for World of Warcraft’s Patch 8.1 : Battle for Azeroth. These standards may change over time, and will be updated as we move forward.

 

Guild Master – Roster Lead – Maintaining and creating roster to assist in the core function of the guild, which is Mythic Raiding. Creating and enforcing guild & rank standards, creating and maintaining internal relations, and providing rewards for quality performance in the guild based on ranks. Create opportunities for players to meet with the raid leader and officers to improve performance on a fight by fight basis. Create and design tools to allow recruiting officers to do a better job and maintain a quota. Be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Guild Master – Raid Lead – Provide encounter strategies and positioning for all bosses in the raid, collaborate with the tanks, healers, and dps leaders to understand their roles and what they can bring to a fight. The raid leader also needs to delegate callouts during encounters, and must be in charge of all additional callouts. The secondary role of the raid leader is to keep the raid moving, this is to include keeping trash and boss pulls moving and reducing downtime. Be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Officer – Ranged Lead – Look over logs, understand the fights and where/how ranged dps can benefit the team most. You are in charge of setting and maintaining ranged dps standards and providing those standards to the team. You will assist the Raid Leader in creating and updating encounter strategies as needed. During fights you need to be able to notice short comings in players and specs and assist in creating solutions. Review your fellow rdps’s logs and assist them in growing as a player both dps and survivability wise. Be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Officer – Healing Lead – Look over logs, understand the fights and where healing CDs need to be used, assign those healing CDs, create and maintain healing standards. You are also in charge of assisting the Raid Leader with boss strategies from a healing standpoint. Part of this role is to look over logs and assist healers where we are lacking to ensure we kill bosses. During fights you need to be able to notice short comings in players and specs and assist in creating solutions. Review your fellow healer’s logs and assist them in growing as a player both hps and survivability wise. Be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Officer – Melee Lead – Look over logs, understand the fights and where melee burst damage windows should be applied to min/max our dps on bosses/adds and get us out of a fight as quick as possible. You are in charge of setting and maintaining melee standards and providing those standards to the team. You will assist the Raid Leader in creating and updating raid boss fight strategies as needed. Duing fights you need to be able to notice short comings in players and specs and assist in creating solutions. Review your fellow melee’s logs and assist them in growing as a player both dps and survivability wise. Be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Sentinel – Protectors – This rank is held by leaders within our guild willing to put the guild’s needs and progress before themselves. These players are asked to find 2+ possible trials every week, through wowprog, trade chat, etc. Reach out to potential trials and send them to our recruitment website. Help to maintain a healthy amount of crafting materials, food, flasks, potions in the guild bank. Sentinels are the lifeblood of a growing guild and thus have elevated privileges and advanced forewarning of upcoming guild news. If raiding be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Guild Vet. – Family – Guild Vet’s have been a part of our guild community for at least two full raid tiers. Their commitment to the guild is invaluable and demonstrates much love and perseverance. We appreciate them and recognize them with elevated permissions and a unique rank within the guild. If raiding be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Raider – Fighters – Do your best to enhance your player skill/knowledge for your personal class/specs. Do everything in your power to increase your throughput on a weekly basis. Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins may be requested from an officer rank to assist you in bettering your performance. You need to be mindful and respectful of these meetings since they are to better the team and maintain your rank/raid slot. Also be sure to maintain guild standards for your IL/HoA for the given patch as well as all standards required of ranks beneath yours.

 

Casual – Villagers – Maintain a healthy relationship in the guild, be a good ambassador for the guild. When in group content remember that everything you say and or do is a direct reflection of the guild and thus should be appropriate.

 

Trial – Fresh Meat – Maintain a 90% raid attendance. Show up to raid prepared, this means being online 15 minutes prior to raid for invites and having all necessary pots/flask/food for the whole night of raiding. Be mechanics driven, we do care about how much damage/healing you can do, but not at the cost of the raid wiping. Have knowledge of all the fights, spend time outside of raid learning to min-max your class/spec to the best of your ability to increase our teams success.
